I am Lakshmi Ramaiah, the founder of MSR Academia, and my commitment to education is deeply rooted in a distinguished family legacy that began in 1962. Inspired by the vision of my late grandfather, Sri M. S. Ramaiah, our family has built one of India’s most respected educational ecosystems—28 institutions spanning engineering, medicine, management, law, and the arts. This legacy has set national and international benchmarks in professional education, and it forms the foundation upon which MSR Academia stands today.
MSR Academia represents both a natural evolution and a personal calling. While we operate as an independent institution, we draw from decades of academic excellence to reimagine what fashion and design education can be in India. Our mission is clear and uncompromising: to deliver a global-standard education shaped by technology, sustainability, and an unshakeable respect for cultural heritage.
We are actively pursuing international accreditations and strategic partnerships with leading global institutions to ensure that our students gain world-class exposure, hands-on industry experience, and access to the finest design ecosystems across the world.
